The Five Days of Christmas, A Morgan Trayhern novella by LIndsay McKenna
For those who love Morgan’s Mercenaries, the longest on-going saga series in publishing history, I’m pleased to see my novella being reprinted for Christmas time. It’s wonderful to be teamed up with Linda Lael Miller, who will have her novella, State Secrets. Both are heart warming Christmas stories.
What better way to kick off the Holiday season than A Proposal for Christmas by two beloved authors?
For those readers who have not read my novella, which was published in the Silhouette Christmas Anthology, Midnight Clear in December, 2001, can capitalize upon this gift of a reprint. If you’ve never read it, be prepared for an intensely emotional, beautiful love that magically happens between Colt Hamlin, a security contractor who works for Morgan, and a widowed Montana school teacher, Abbey, who has close ties to Laura Trayhern, Morgan’s wife.
With so many military vets now returning from overseas, there is a timelessness to this story that will touch all of us like a tuning fork. Having been in the military myself, the US Navy, I can tell you that being away from home during the Holidays is gut wrenching and makes the holidays a difficult time of the year.
Family is family. So come along and read about Colt and Abbey. Celebrate their unexpected falling in love with one another as each helps out with the Trayhern Christmas tradition known as the “five days of Christmas.”
Warmly,
Lindsay
