While in the US Navy I had a chance to “rub elbows” with our security agencies such as the CIA, DEA, ATF, FBI and others. I found the men and women of these patriotic agencies to be very different from most people in other careers. Having possessed a Secret Clearance, I can’t speak of what I saw or know, but I can create a dramatic story with high stakes, life and death, with the elements these brave agents possessed. That is the foundation of Wind River Undercover. I typically like to write about what I know and experienced. This romantic suspense set in the Wind River Valley, is a tightrope of possibilities, most of them dangerous and some, life threatening.

Ana Navarro is not someone to mess with. She’s typical sniper in that she has a laser focus on what she’s doing. She’s committed to eradicating the world of bad guys who want to keep selling drugs to addicts. She comes from a proud Guatemalan military family, encouraged to do whatever she wanted with her life. Ana had a plan, but at 19, her father was murdered by drug soldiers, and her life took an abrupt turn. From then on, she had a million dollar bounty on her head for her lethal ability to take out top-tier drug lords and rid her country of them.

When Gabe Whitcomb is assigned with her to a new mission in Wind River Valley to follow and find drug drops, he’s not looking for a woman to complete him.
